vivo Philippines had a very good run in 2022 where it achieved an incredible 88% YoY growth in Q3 of 2022, thanks to its successful smartphone releases such as the X, V, and Y series. That actually made vivo the top 2 smartphone brand in the Philippine market. Now that 2023 has finally arrived, we can expect vivo to do even better as it already has a pretty good lineup of upcoming phones that are most likely to arrive in the local market as well.
Just like last year, in 2023 we can expect vivo launch upgraded and enhanced variants of its popular X, V, and Y series. There's the X90 Series, the V27 Series and the upgraded Y35 5G and its follow up which is the Y36. Here are some to the things we know about these upcoming devices.
Let's start with the vivo V27 series, which is surely going to be the next big thing since the V25 that fans may look forward to this year. In the V25 series, most loved features include the Photochromic Technology will be loved even more in the new V27 series, according to vivo. Sounds like a new upgrade is coming in addition to the bigger storage, more reliable battery, new eye-catching colorways and more.
Now, mobile photography is one of the best things about vivo smartphones most especially in the upper midrange and flagship level ones. With the upcoming V27 series, vivo said we can expect even more with the new lineup delivering another top-notch camera set-up. Reports said that the V27 Series will offer upgraded night mode photography and videography that guarantees to give outstanding portraits and selfies.
If you loved 2022's vivo X80 installment, chances are you are also excited to see what the new X90 series has in store for us, which are said to release this year as well. With this new series, vivo is expected to offer it with ZEISS imaging capabilities in its cameras for professional-grade photos and videos.
The #QuickAsAFlash vivo Y35 which was loved by many users for its fast charging feature and impressive performance is to receive an upgrade with the upcoming vivo Y35 5G. That could mean an even smoother experience, faster connection, and stress and lag-free operations. We'll see.
