In China, a 5G variant of the Vivo Y35 has been officially launched. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. Read more here.
It is easily believed that the 5G model offers upgrades compared to its 4G
counterpart, the truth is it does not, apart from that 5G support. Main
differences between the 4G and 5G models includes the processor that powers
the device as the 4G one has Snapdragon 680 chip inside as opposed to
Dimensity 700 on the new iteration. Also, the refresh rate has been
downgraded to just 60Hz on the 5G model, the other one has 90Hz refresh rate
and a full HD+ resolution. The rear camera is also another step down we see
on this new model, on the back are 13MP and 2MP dual camera setup. The 4G
LTE variant has 50MP as the main camera on the rear.
The vivo Y35 5G is available in three RAM configurations up to 8GB and only
one 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It is assumed that it also supports
microSD card for additional storage, but vivo did not specify. Thankfully
though, the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS as well as USB Type-C and 3.5mm
audiojack.
As for its battery and charging capability, the vivo Y35 5G is equipped with
a large 5000mAh battery and a 15W charger. There is also Face Unlock and
fingerprint sensor that is mounted on its side.
