The brand new Honor Play 4 Pro has been officially launched in China. Read more details here.
The Honor Play 4 Pro is packed with 6.57-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display. The

display and not an AMOLED, it does not have an in-display fingerprint reader.

In its core, is the Huawei's very own HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor integrated
with 5G connectivity support and is paired with Mali-G76 GPU. It comes with
8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Unlike many other releases from other
brands, the Honor Play 4 Pro only comes in one RAM+storage configuration.
Plus, there is no microSD or NM card support for storage expansion
needs.
Software-wise, this Honor Play 4 Pro smartphone is running on the brand's
latest Magic UI 3.1 based on the recent Android 10 mobile OS. And being under
the Huawei umbrella, this device does not come with Google Play. However,
there is the AppGallery for mobile applications to download from.
And as for its cameras, as mentioned above, there are two on the back and
another two on the front. On the rear are the 40MP main shooter with Sony
IMX600 RYYB sensor and then an 8MP secondary camera with telephoto lens and 3x
optical zoom feature. On the front are 32MP main selfie shooter and a
secondary 8MP camera with ultrawide lens.
There will be another version of this Play 4 Pro where the only difference is
that it packs an IR Temperature Sensor. According to Honor, this will enable
the device to scan and read temperatures of objects, animals, and even people.
As you can imagine, this will be a very helpful feature in these times of
global pandemic. This IR or infrared temperature sensor is able to read
between -20 degrees Celsius and 100 degrees Celsius.
