Watch the Game of Thrones' The Spoils of War episode's behind the scenes


Titled "Game of Thrones: The Loot Train Attack", the show's official YouTube channel released a 14-minute behind-the-scenes clip showing how the massive, epic and fiery Season 7 Episode 4 "The Spoils of War" episode was made. If you have not seen the 4th episode of this year's Game of Thrones, please be advised that this post and the video itself contains spoilers so far in the season and most of all in the latest episode.

This particular behind the scenes talks about the making of the battle scenes happened in the Spoils of War episode where Daenerys mounted Drogon with the horde of horse-mounted Dothraki warriors alongside her and attacked Jamie Lannister's caravan in an open field. It took place in the last 15 minutes of the episode and it was one of the best sequences that every Game of Thrones fans has been wanting to see since the dragons made their very first appearance back at the end of Season 1. This episode was directed by Matt Shakman, and it was also his first time directing a Game of Thrones episode and boy he did a tremendous job in making everything perfect that is definitely to challenge last year's Battle of the Bastard's episode.

From what we see on the internet, this is not the final big battle yet we fans have seen in the seventh season. There is another one waiting for us in the remaining couple of episodes.
