Convergys is Hiring for 2013

I was able to talk to one of my friends who works for Convergys the other day and she is under a team which looks for people to hire for the BPO company. This friend of mine said they are currently in need of people to hire and she asked me if could make a post to this blog about it since she knows I own this blog site, and since she is my friend, I right away said yes. Anyway I also blog about BPO-related news so why not I said.

Convergys needs agents to fill up positions like Customer Service Representative Technical Support Agent that cater to mostly US-based customers. Like what I said in my previous posts, whenever I get a chance to talk to people who work in BPO industry and had been to other call center companies, only few of them are formerly hired by Convergys. To me, that means CVG has a low percentage of attrition rate or agents leaving the company. I may not have the data to support it but that's based on my personal experience.

One of the awards given to this biggest contact center in the Philippines is the "BPO Best Employer of the Year" at the 2012 International ICT awards held here in Manila. And on Friday through the company's Facebook page, CVG announced they just received the Silver Award for the Convergys You Count Digital Campaign at the Philippines Association of National Advertisers' Award. CVG also just opened its 18th contact center in the country which is located at SM Megamall, if you have recently been to Megamall you might have noticed it already.
