Guillermo Del Toro's PACIFIC RIM First Trailer

It's been quite a long time since the last time I saw a movie with fighting giant robots, That was the Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. This coming July of 2013 we are in for another set of robots saving the humanity but this time these mechanical giants are human-made and human-controlled fighting not another group of robots but giant sea monsters called Kaiju. To fight the Kaiju monters, humans created these massive-sized robots which in the movie they refer to as the Jaegers. See director Guillermo Del Torro's first movie trailer for the Pacific Rim.

And oh those gigantic sea monters (Kaiju) remind me of two previous movies I have seen featuring famous monsters that are sea-originated, Godzilla and the Kraken from the Clash of the Titans. I am not sure if Godzilla is really from the the sea but I remember this monster always coming out from a big body of water, then Hades' Kraken this one for sure I know is from the sea.

PACIFIC RIM opens on the 24th of July 2013. That's a little over a month after the opening day of the Superman movie reboot Man of Steel by director Zack Snyder.
