Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Priced in the Philippines

Samsung Philippines has just officially confirmed that its latest Galaxy S series offering is also arriving in the local market. The anticipated Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is now official and will retail in the Philippines starting at Php36,990.

Staying true to its iconic S Series design, the Galaxy S23 FE still boasts its latest floating camera design and premium finish protected with IP68 dust and water resistance certification. Not only that, the device is featured with recycled materials as well as its packaging. 

Its front and back panels are still made of glass retaining its premium look and feel. 

While the Galaxy S23 FE does not sport the same specs as its flagship counterparts, which is understandable, it is packed with pretty powerful specs. Underneath the hood is a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. If you can remember, that's the same processor found in last year's Galaxy S22. You might think it's a little older, but we can't deny it's still a powerful processor out there.

For mobile gamers and heavy users, Samsung made sure to include a vapor chamber inside the device to keep its cool while under intense gaming session. 

On the back, users will enjoy 50MP triple rear camera with 3x optical zoom and 12MP and 8MP shooters. On the front is a 10MP selfie camera. In addition to the usual camera settings like the Pro Mode, this FE model has Nightohraphy camera mode, enabling users to take clear images in low-light environment.

At release, the phone will run on Android 13 with OneUI 5.1. Android 14 just got released recently, so we can expect Samsung to upgrade its software in the near future. Samsung promises up to four years of OS upgrades and five years of security patches. 

Besides the Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Tab S9 FE (pricing starts at Php29,990), and Galaxy Buds FE (priced at Php5,490) in the local market.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Fan Edition is packed with 4500mAh battery paired with 285W fast charging tech. This promises up to 50% battery life in in just 30 minutes. 

Consumers will have two models of this Galaxy S23 FE to choose from, 128GB and 256GB models. The first one comes with a Php36,990 sticker while the second has Php39,990 asking price when it hits the Philippine market soon. Samsung Philippines said the device will be available in the third week of October.
