Xiaomi Redmi 12 is Launching in PH on September 20

Another budget-friendly smartphone is coming to the Philippines this month from Xiaomi. The device is called the Xiaomi Redmi 12 boasting nice design and pretty powerful specs for a price that for sure won't break the bank, knowing Xiaomi brand.

Xiaomi Philippines itself teased the phone's arrival and said that it will launch this coming September 20, 2023. 

The phone offers 6.79-inch IPS display with 1080P Full HD+ resolution, and it comes with 90Hz refresh rate right out of the box. Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G88 processor and up to 8GB of RAM. 

As for its internal storage, it is said that there's going to be 128GB and 256GB options which both supports microSD card up to 1TB. 

Camera-wise, the Redmi 12 has triple rear camera system with the primary lens pegged at 50MP. Secondary and tertiary cameras come with 8MP and 2MP, respectively. The two shooters offer ultrawide and macro lenses. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera.

The Xiaomi Redmi 12 will come in three color options namely: Sky Blue, Polar Silver, and Midnight Black. There is 18W fast charger and the phone is packed with 5000mAh battery.

Of course we don't know yet how much this device will be priced for, but looking at the international market, the pricing starts at around Php7,500 and goes as high as Php10,500. That's a pretty aggressive pricing for its specs, so hopefully it will be near that range, if not the same, when it launches in the Philippines this month.
