Netflix One Piece Live Action

Yes, you read that right! One Piece live-action series is officially sailing for its second season!

Fans definitely approved Netflix's take on the hit manga and anime series One Piece, thanks to countless positive reviews and reactions across different social media platforms. And because of its undisputed success, Netflix has just greenlit One Piece Season 2.

The good news was announced by none other than the One Piece author himself, Eiichiro Oda, through official Twitter account of Netflix via a Den Den Mushi aka Transponder Snail. He said:

To everyone who's been a fan of One Piece for years, and to those who experienced One Piece for the first time, thank you so much. Two weeks after the launch, I just received some great news... Netflix has decided to renew the show,"

This means we will continue our journey to the Grand Line with the Straw Hat crew with its captain by the name of  Monkey D. Luffy, who dreams of becoming the Pirate King by finding the One Piece.

We just have to keep in mind that the Season 2 may take a while to finish, especially due to the on going writer strike. But according to Tomorrow Studios, One Piece's production company that worked with Netflix on the first season, said that scripts for season 2 is ready, and that they hope to release the next season by at least a year from today, if things move very quickly.
