Officially launched in April of this year, the Huawei Nova 11 Series is finally coming to the Philippines this June 21, 2023.
The series consists of three models. In addition to the standard vanilla model, there are the Nova 11 Pro and Nova 11 Ultra variants. It's not clear yet though if Huawei Philippines will release all of them in the local market this week. Based on teasers and releases so far, it appears that only the base and Pro variants will debut locally. We'll know in the next few days.
Like most Huawei flagship and mid-range smartphones and the Nova Series that came before this, the Nova 11 lineup is also banking on its camera prowess. Huawei said the series will also debut XD Portrait technology which promises an improved HUAWEI Ultravision Photography, 60MP Front Ultra Portrait Dual Camera and 50MP Ultra Vision Camera system.
The company added that both the Nova 11 and Nova 11 Pro smartphones will be equipped with 4500mAh large battery capacity. And in terms of fast charge system, the Nova 11 will have a 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo that will recharge the phone in full in just 31 minutes. The Nova 11 Pro, on the other hand, will pack 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo that can charge the phone up to 60% in 10 minutes and full charge in 20 minutes with screen turned off.
A Huawei Nova 11i variant also appears to be in the lineup. Pegged to be the most affordable one in the series, this one has 48MP dual rear camera with a 16MP in the front. Has 5000mAh battery with 40W fast-charging system.
The Huawei Nova 11 series will come running on EMUI 13 operating system with its own AppGallery app store. And in case you don't know yet, there is still no Google Play store in the series.
