Another mobile phone brand is coming back to the Philippine smartphone scenes after years of absence - ZTE Mobile. Invites have been sent to local tech for its local launch where it says that they are to launch "the latest range of powerful phones." Of course as of yet, we don't know what those smartphones are, but one of the teaser images that ZTE released on their Facebook page seems to confirm that the Axon 40 Ultra is one of those. Check it out below.

Now, let's take a quick look at what this ZTE Axon 40 Ultra offers. Turns out, it is a monster of a flagship smartphone. It was first launched and released globally in June 2022, not just in the Philippines of course, and it sports impressive design and specs.

For a starter, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra offers three 64MP camera lenses on its back, something that we don't see everyday even from the big guys. So 64MP triple rear cameras with ultrawide and periscope telephoto lenses. There is also autofocus and OIS for a much smoother, clear and shake-free photos and videos.

Display specs offer 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with 2480 x 1116 resolution and also comes with 120Hz refresh rate. It has an almost bezel-less edges that even a selfie camera dot or punch-hole is nowhere to be seen. But it still has that 16MP front camera, it is just housed under the display. I know, cool right? And oh, the fingerprint is also underneath the display, because why not.

The Axon 40 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 together with Adreno 730 GPU and up to 16GB of RAM. For storage options, there are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB UFS 3.1 variants. Powering the software side of things is an Android 12 version with MyOS 12 on top for ZTE's customization.
