Xiaomi launched the Redmi 12 C in China with a starting price of CNY 699 or around Php5,700 when converted. Read more here.
On the front is a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display with 1600 x 720 resolution and a
dewdrop notch holding the 5MP selfie camera. And then on the back is a 50MP
with VGA dual rear camera setup. There is a fingerprint reader on this device
and it is also situated on the back right beside the rear camera module.
If you take a closer look, it is actually very similar with
Redmi A1 in looks only the specs are more upgraded and powerful, most especially
in the camera department. But unlike the Redmi A1 which has been made
available in the Philippines late last year, the Redmi 12C is only released in
China, well at least for now.
The Redmi 12C is available in four color options which are called Shadow
Black, Sea Blue, Lavender, and Mint Green. Colors and design are vibrant and
clearly aimed at younger users at those who are on a tight budget.
