Initially unveiled in the last days of November in the global smartphone scene, the vivo Y02 smartphone is now also officially launched in the Philippines just in time for the holidays. vivo said this new phone offers Filipino fans a slim, minimalist, and modern smartphone armed with everything they need for their everyday hustle, which includes large battery, smooth and lag-free performance, and impressive storage capacity to name a few.
The vivo Y02 is packed with a large and powerful 5000mAh battery. With that battery size in this caliber of a smartphone, more than a day of battery life even on heavy use is guaranteed. The battery is paired with a 10W charger in the box. Unlike many other smartphones around, especially in this price segment, the vivo Y02 has a 5W reverse charging technology in it. This means, the phone is capable of acting as a powerbank to other devices that you may have, a feature that is very useful especially when you are on the go.
As for its camera side, the vivo Y02 is equipped with a single 8MP camera on the back with built-in Bokeh feature which adds blurring on the background to add more life to your subject in the photo. For selfie purposes, there is a 5MP front facing camera that comes with Face Beauty feature.
This Android 12 Go Edition-powered smartphone supports dual SIM functionality and 4G LTE connectivity. Then it still has the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS features and the 3.5mm audiojack. Now, vivo did not mention, but basing on its specs and pricing, it most like sports microUSB port instead of USB Type-C. Fingerprint print reader might not be present too.
For performance and storage needs, the vivo Y02 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor and sports 2GB of RAM and a 32GB internal storage. For some users, that's quite enough, but if you are going to need more, you can still slide in a microSD card up to 1TB in size. This device is available in two color options - Cosmic Grey and Orchid Blue.
