Paramount Pictures just unleashed the official trailer for its upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts live action movie.
To be honest, I have already forgotten that there was a Transformers movie in development where the Beasts Wars characters would be introduced for the very first time, until this first official trailer was released very recently. And to be honest again, I am excited to see it when it comes out next year.
In case you wonder where in the Transformers movie series timeline this one sits, the events in this Rise of the Beasts take place in the 90s somewhere between Bumblebee and Michael Bay's Transformers films.
In addition to the Autobots and Decepticons that we know from the franchise, we will also be introduced to the Beast Wars characters like the Maximals, Predecons, and the Terrorcons. So far, they have planned for a new trilogy and hopefully that will really happen and that this new film will definitely set that new expansion to the movie series.
Peter Cullen is returning as the voice of Optimus Prime and Ron Perlman is voicing Optimus Primal in this movie. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts releases in June 2023.
