We all know that HONOR has just officially launched its latest foldable smartphone called the Magic Vs sometime in November 2022. Now, more news just came in directly from HONOR Philippines that they will definitely bring the HONOR Magic Vs to the Philippine market this 2023.
Stephen Cheng, HONOR Philippines Vice President for Marketing said in a statement, "We are thrilled to introduce our next-generation foldable flagship, the HONOR Magic Vs, which packs groundbreaking innovations and exceptional user experience into an elegant and stylish design. The HONOR Magic Vs will be our very first foldable flagship to debut in overseas markets and we are confident that it will deliver huge advancements, transforming how people all around the world use their smartphones."
The HONOR Magic Vs sports exceptionally slim and lightweight specs at only 12.9mm thinness when folded and weights around 261g right out of the box. HONOR further claims that the Magic Vs is equipped with super-light gearless hinge that is carefully crafted with a single-piece casting processing technology. This innovation allowed them to drastically reduce the number of components of supporting structure used in the hinge while at the same time maintaining its durability and sturdiness.
Because of that innovation, HONOR said that the Magic Vs is able to last up to over 400,000 folds which translates to about ten years at 100 folds per day.
In terms of other specs, the HONOR Magic Vs comes with a 6.45-inch when folded. Also it has 21:9 aspect ratio and a 90% screen-to-body ratio which allows users to view content and input text with remarkable ease. Now when it is unfolded, the smartphone sports an extra-wide 7.9-inch internal display. Yes you read that right, it has an external (6.45-inch) and internal (7.9-inch) displays. It does not fold outward, but inward.
In the camera department, the HONOR Magic Vs is embedded with a proprietary AI-enabled HONOR Image Engine and a triple camera system comprising of a 54MP Sony IMX800 main shooter, a 50MP Ultra-Wide & Marco camera, and an 8MP 3X Optical Zoom Camera. On paper, that should provide stunningly clear and rich-details photos and videos.
Also, the foldable smartphone is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform processor. Battery-wise, it is equipped with 66W Wired HONOR SuperCharge which allows it to power up the Magic Vs up to 100% in just 46 minutes.
