HONOR 70 5G Now Officially Launched and Priced in the Philippines

One of the latest premium mid-range smartphones from HONOR, the HONOR 70 5G, has finally launched in the Philippines. For those who would like to score one will cost Php26,990 a piece. For that price tag, it offers quite a lot in terms of not just great design aesthetics but also in terms of specs and performance. 

The HONOR 70, as the name suggests, boasts 5G connectivity powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor with 8GB of RAM. While under the hood is a huge 4800mAh battery pack paired with a 66W Honor SuperCharge right out of the box.  

Will be available in Midnight Black and Crystal Silver, the HONOR 70 5G sports triple rear camera system with the main shooter is pegged at 54MP with IMX800 sensor baked in. The secondary shooter is at 50MP with ultrawide lens and then a third snapped with just 2MP depth. On the front is a 32MP selfie camera. 

If there is one thing that's really unique or stands out in this Honor offering, it is its camera mode called Solo Cut Mode which was created with vloggers in mind. What it does is it has this Person Autofocus Tracking Technology where it produces portrait vlogs that focuses or spotlights a certain person in the group. It also has multi-recording feature that can record videos using both the front and back cameras simultaneously. This Solo Cut Mode feature does not just extend to recording videos, it also allows users to live stream both videos at the same time. 

Viewing experience wise, users are treated with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Underneath the display is the fingerprint sensor. And if you have been meaning to know if this device has Google Mobile Services, the answer to that is a yes. This means you can access Google Play and download any Android apps to this device. HONOR 70 5G runs on Android 12 OS with Magic UI 6.1 on top.

The HONOR 70 5G is officially priced at Php26,990 and it is now available for pre-order until October 28, 2022. Each pre-order will come with a free JBL Flip 5 speaker worth Php6,999.
