In a surprise Instagram video, Henry Cavill himself announces and confirms that he is still and is definitely back as Superman. He said in his video posted on his own Instagram account (which you can watch below) said he wanted to wait until the weekend was over, and give many a chance to watch first Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam, before making the announcement.
Henry Cavill thanked the fans, most of all, for the support and patience and promises that his next outing as Superman "will be rewarding.
As as superhero fan myself who also happened to enjoy Henry Cavill's first Man of Steel movie in 2013 and his subsequent appearances in the DC Extended Universe films like Batman v Superman and The Justice League, I have been waiting for his official sequel-to-the-man-of-steel movie installment to happen. But there has been a lot going on over at Warner Bros. that manages and takes care of this DC film releases surrounding the franchise. But after the Black Adam release, it looks like things are going brighter for the franchise and the DC fans.
Of course, we don't know yet if it is really going to be a solo Superman movie or not and when that is going to be. I just can't wait to see Cavill in the Blue Suit again whatever the film is going to be about. If it comes to a point where he faces off with Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam, just like what the mid-credits clip shown in the movie, it would be awesome. Hopefully everything goes smoothly as planned.
