Marvel Releases Trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special

The other day, Marvel Studios released its first official trailer for the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania commencing the Phase 5 of the MCU and introducing a new villain. Today, we are treated with yet another trailer for one of its most successful Marvel movies - Guardians of the Galaxy. It is not a trailer for the Volume 3 though, we won't see one for at least until later or early next year. What we have here is the trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. 

This Holiday Special, as the name suggests, gives us a quick update or rather a-day-in-the-life sort of thing of the Guardians this upcoming holiday season. The team, most especially Mantis and Drax, are going to mount a "wonderful Christmas gift" for Peter Quill to cheer him up a bit as he is greatly devastated about Gamora being gone. 

In one scene we see Mantis and Drax brainstorming on what kind of gift they can give to Peter Quill this Christmas. Mantis suggested, "something special that he will never forget," to which Drax responded with, "what about someone special?". Next thing we know is they are at the house of 'the legendary Kevin Bacon". Peter Quill have been joking or making references to Kevin Bacon since Volume 1 of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and now we are finally seeing him in this part of the Galaxy. And from what I can see in the trailer, it is going to be a festive treat for the fans like me. 

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, written and directed by James Gunn, is coming to Disney Plus on November 25.
