Here are a few of my app recommendations for your Huawei MatePad Android tablet.
Just got your brand new Huawei MatePad Android tablet or planning to get one
soon? Good for you as you are choosing one of the best and latest Android
tablets in the market today. It is also one of the tablets out there that
offers so much value in terms of design, build, and performance for a price
tag of only a little over Php20K. This tablet is perfect for consuming
digital content whether it is for learning or entertainment purposes, thanks
to its very responsive screen, its stunning 10.4-inch 2K display, and detail
rich four speakers with audio tuned by Harman Kardon.
Now to take advantage of Huawei MatePad's full potential and everything that
it offers inside and out, here are some of the top learning and entertainment
apps from the Huawei AppGallery or Petal Search that I recommend you give a
try and download to your MatePad.
Entertainment apps
When it comes to some of the top entertaining mobile apps, Tiktok is always
on the list especially within the last few months when it started to become
so popular among younger users. TikTok is both social media and an
entertainment app, thanks to the app's variety of features for creating
content and to its millions of users worldwide who create posts that offer a
lot of fun.
For those who love to sing, WeSing is the app. It is a karaoke app with
millions of songs in its list and it's a free to download and use. You can
record a video of you singing your favorite song or even a duet video with
your friends and share it on the platform or to your social media app like
Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp.
With Kumu, apart from being able to meet new Filipino friends from around
the world and interact with them, you can also earn money as you use this
app. According to its page description, Kumu is a Pinoy community platform
where users can get paid by becoming a livestreamer, win cash prizes by
playing games, and make money by participating in various promotions run on
Kumu.
Now if you love watching shows from ABS CBN and GMA Network, you can check
out iWant and GMA Network apps from the AppGallery. You can also watch
previously-aired programs from the networks. iFlix is also now downloadable
from the AppGallery as well as the VIU.
If you are into mobile gaming, there are also a ton of selections available
on the AppGallery. There is the crowd-favorites like Asphalt 9: Legends,
Naruto: Slugfest, Rise of Kingdoms, and Plants vs Zombies to name a
few.
For book lovers, the Huawei MatePad has an eBook mode perfect for reading,
well, ebooks. One of the popular ebook reader apps you can download from the
AppGallery is called ReadEra. And did you know that WattPad now also
available on the AppGallery?
If you have kids at home and you would like them to learn English while using
this tablet, you can try the LingoKids app. It is a fun-filled and exciting
learning app that kids will definitely love. The LingoKids app will teach your
children numbers, shapes, colors, alphabet, animals and more.
For adults, they can try the English Grammar app to improve their English
grammar even further which is also available from the AppGallery.
These are just some of my recommendations but there are a ton more apps
available on the Huawei AppGallery and the selection just keeps on growing by
the day with more and more top and popular apps becoming available in Huawei's
own app marketplace. Now if you can't find the app that you need or looking
for, don't worry as Huawei's new Petal Search app will help you find the best
place to download them whether it's from the app's official website,
third-party app marketplace such as APKPure or even from the AppGallery
itself.
By default, the Huawei Petal Search is not pre-installed on the Huawei
MatePad, don't know why. But you can search it on the AppGallery and download
it from there. Petal Search is also available for Huawei smartphones.
For me, two of my most used apps are YouTube and Netflix. While both of the
apps are currently not available yet on the AppGallery, through Petal Search,
I am able to access and use YouTube like I normally would through the browser
and save a bookmark to the home screen. Then as for Netflix and even Facebook,
Petal Search directed me to download it from APKPure and the Facebook app from
its website.
