Alongside the brand new
Huawei Nova 7 5G, the company also launched the new and more affordable FreeBuds 3i wireless
earphones with Active Noise Cancellation or ANC. Unlike its predecessor, the
FreeBuds 3, this model features closed fit in-ear type of earbuds offering a
much more immersive audio listening experience and much more improved noise
cancelling functionality.
According to Huawei, its ANC feature is achieved through the three mics
installed on this wireless earbuds. It comes with two outward-facing and one
inward-facing microphones where the outward facing ones detect ambient noise
and actively counter with anti-noise and the inward facing mic picks up the
other noises in your ears for further cancellation. This mechanism results in
actively lowering the background noise by up to 32dB.
The Huwei FreeBuds 3i are also equipped with capacitive touch sensors on its
sides allowing users to control the music without flipping the paired
smartphone out of the pocket - double-tap for music and calls, and long-tap
for active noise cancellation. Also, the playback is automatically paused
when the earbuds are taken off the ears and will auto play once put back
in.
It will be released in two colors which are Carbon Black and Ceramic White
and will be available beginning today, July 31, for only Php5,990. For
those who will purchase this accessory until August 2 will get a free
protective case worth Php1,099.
