The OPPO Reno4 Series is now Officially Launched

The brand new OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro smartphones are now officially launched in China. As the naming suggests, while the two phones share a lot similarities in terms of specs and design, the Pro model has extra offerings compared to its little brother. Except for the selfie cameras though, while most "Pro" models have dual front cameras, in this scenario it's the Reno4 has the dual front camera setup and not the Reno4 Pro. Apart from that one, the rest is business as usual between the pro and non-pro models.

In terms of processor, both the Reno4 and Reno4 Pro are powered by the same Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor right out of the box. The former will be offered with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB internal storage, while the latter will be in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with 128GB and 256GB storage options.

Now in the camera department, both devices have triple back camera setup with both the primary shooter at 48MP. The extra in the Pro model is that it has optical image stabilization or OIS and its secondary 12MP camera is equipped with Sony IMX708 sensor, there's also a third 13MP telephoto sensor capable of 5x hybrid optical zoom and 20x digital zoom. The Reno4 has 8MP ultrawide secondary shooter and a tertiary 2MP shooter with monochrome sensor. Ultra Night Video and Ultra Steady Video 3.0 are also onboard the phones.

As for the display, the devices boasts almost the same screen size and full HD+ AMOLED panels. The Reno4 has flat screen, and the Reno4 Pro has curved front panel with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ technology. Being AMOLED-equipped devices, the fingerprint reader is embedded right in the display.

Both of the phones are equipped with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charge, which according to OPPO, is capable of charging the phone from 0% to 60% in just 15 minutes or 36 minutes to fully charge. The Reno4 has 4020mAh, the Reno4 Pro packs 4000mA battery.

Between the two, the Reno4 Pro will be offered in more color options than the standard Reno4 model. In addition to the regular black and white selections, the Pro will also be coming in Reno Glow Blue, Reno Glow Red, and Pantone Summer Green. The Reno4 will have the Diamond Blue, White, and Black colorways.

In China, the OPPO Reno4 series will be available starting June 12, 2020. The Reno4 with 8GB+128GB is retailed for CNY 2,999 (Php21,000) and the 8GB+256GB is for CNY 3,299 (Php23,200). The Reno4 with 8GB+128GB, on the other hand, is going to be for CNY 3,799 (Php26,700) while the 12GB+256GB model is for CNY 4,299 (Php30,200).

While we expect this new Reno4 series to be released in other markets too, we just don't know when at this moment.
