Government agencies such as Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and the
Social Security System (SSS) have recently announced the final extension for
tax filing and paying membership dues which are both to happen until June 15,
2020.
If you are still one of those people who are yet to pay their financial
responsibilities to these agencies, you can use your PayMaya account to make
the payment. PayMaya said that convenience fees are waived for BIR transaction
when you use the Pay Bills feature in the PayMaya mobile app. Now, SSS members
can get a chance to earn up to 100% cashback on their transaction when they
pay their dues using their PayMaya account through the SSS mobile
app.
In addition to this, PayMaya has also equipped more government agencies and
units with the capability to accept cashless payment options through card
and e-wallet solutions. These agencies include PAG-IBIG Fund, DTI, PRC,
DOST, DFA, NHMFC, the City of Valenzuela and many others.
PayMaya Philippines said that they also partnered with DOTr and LTFRB to equip
public utility vehicles (PUVs) like taxis, buses, and TNVS cars with cashless
payment acceptance options. All this in an effort to help the government and
