OPPO Philippines is set to bring the A92 midrange smartphone in the local market soon. Read more here.
Initially launched in Malaysia a month ago, the OPPO A92 sports a quite huge
6.5-inch screen with full HD resolution right out of the box. Like many other
smartphone releases of this year, this midrange device has also ditched the
waterdrop notch in favor of the more attractive punch-hole cutout for the 16MP
selfie camera located at the upper left part of the screen.
It is powered by Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB
internal storage which I believe is still expandable via microSD card. As
already mentioned, on its back is a quad camera setup with a 48MP sensor
leading the charge alongside ulrawide 8MP, monochrome 2MP, and macro 2MP
camera shooters.
In terms of mobile OS, the phone is powered by the latest Android 10 with
ColorOS 7.1 on top for everything OPPO UI customization. Since it is a
non-AMOLED display smartphone, there is no in-display fingerprint scanner. The
print reader is side-mounted integrated with the power key. From what it
appears, there will be two color variants of this to arrive in the
Philippines, Twilight Black and Shining White.
