Huawei's new Super Nova
As previously teased on their Facebook page, Huawei Philippines has just officially launched its latest "Super Nova" smartphone offering in the local market. This is the brand new Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G, the first ever mid-range smartphone in the Philippines equipped with 5G capability thanks to its powerful Kirin 820 5G SoC and it is priced just below Php20K.
The phone will be released in two color variants in the country - Space Silver
and Crush Green. You better check out the silver one, it looks so
gorgeous.
Apart from the fresh and stunning designs and powerful Kirin 820 5G processor,
some of the key highlights of this brand new Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G include 64MP
quad-rear camera, AI-powered cameras including the selfie shooter, huge
4000mAh battery, and the 40W SuperCharge fast charger. And then of course,
last but definitely not the least is its 5G support capability. Smart and
Globe have been working so hard to bring this next-gen connectivity to life
here in the Philippines and we are getting closer to finally experiencing it.
So if you are excited for this technological development and would like to be
one of the first to experience it, you should consider this device big time. I
mean it looks stunning, powerful, and most of all more affordable than any
5G-equipped smartphones available out there.
The Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with full HD+ or
1080p resolution right off the bat. Huawei did not mention any screen
protection such as Corning Gorilla and there is no 90Hz refresh rate yet on
the smartphone but it does support HDR10 which is nice. Also on the front
panel is the single punch-hole cutout on the upper left of the screen that
holds the 16MP selfie camera.
Fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side of the phone integrated in the power
key. Software-wise, like many other latest smartphones from Huawei, it is
powered by the new EMUI 10.1 OS that is based on the current Android 10. And
the for mobile application needs, there is Huawei's very own AppGallery where
users can download apps from.
AppGo is available on the Nova 7 SE 5G
And speaking of mobile app or the AppGallery, Huawei is introducing the AppGo
which can be downloaded from the AppGallery. What does it do? It helps Huawei
smartphone users find the best place to get their favorite apps from, either
from the AppGallery itself, through official websites of the mobile apps, or
via third party app stores such as APK Pure.

Huawei Philippines is going to hold an online Carnival Super Nova Super Show
this coming June 12 through their Facebook channel. Mark your calendar as
Huawei invites you to this biggest virtual event this year where they will
officially release the Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G. The event starts at 8PM on June
12, Friday, and you can tune in through this page.
At this online event, you can expect collaboration announcements as well as
product talks and performances by Huawei's NovaStars or endorsers who are yet
to be revealed.

The Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G is officially priced at Php19,999. Pre-order process
will begin on June 12 and will last until June 21, 2020. Those who will
