Been wondering when the Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy will hit Netflix this
year? Well, there is a good news coming from the cast of the hit Netflix
Originals Series. Through a compiled video clips of themselves dancing while
in quarantine in their respective homes, they revealed the official release
date for the Season 2. Check it out below.
The Umbrella Academy Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on July 31, 2020.
First released in February 2019, The Umbrella Academy is based on the
superhero comics of the same name written by Gerard Way and illustrated by
Gabriel Ba and adapted into the small screen by Steve Blackman as the
showrunner. The first season was definitely a success making the season 2
official sometime in April of last year.
The show follows a story of seven children out of 43 babies who were
inexplicably born in 1989 to random women whom had no signs of pregnancy the
day before they were given births. Seven of the infants were adopted by a
billionaire who created The Umbrella Academy to save the world.
