PayMaya Negosyo App Launched for Safe and Contactless Payments from Your Customers

In these times of coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic with lockdowns starting to relax in many parts of the country, physical distancing is still one of the best ways to avoid contracting and spreading the virus. If you are business man or woman, social distancing is going to be a bit of challenge for you to comply with most especially when dealing with your customers like receiving payments from them. Thankfully, PayMaya is here to the rescue to help us process safe and more secure contactless payments from our buyers by launching the new PayMaya Negosyo app.

The PayMaya Negosyo app is now available to download from the Google Play Store for Android devices. Through this, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) can now easily accept QR and other forms of digital payments using their smartphones and even if they don't have an e-commerce website.

With the PayMaya Negosyo app, you can now...

Accept payments from PayMaya users via PayMaya QR which can be shared in their social media pages and chat apps
Receive payments from upgraded PayMaya users through the Send Money function of the app
Process bank transfer payments from any InstaPay-participating bank and e-wallet in the Philippines

To sign up and start using this service, all you have to do is sign up through the app using your mobile number, upload one valid government ID, and a video selfie of yourself for liveliness check. The application will be reviewed and approved within 24 to 48 hours. Once approved, you can start using the service.

Compared to the consumer version of the app, PayMaya Negosyo merchant users can have a monthly limit of up to Php250,000 as opposed to Php100,000 limit on the regular PayMaya app account.
