As part of the recently-launched Harry Potter At Home initiative by Wizarding World and J.K. Rowling during these times of pandemic and lockdowns to entertain fans around the world while at home, the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is coming back to life once again in a form of a podcast on Spotify. This book one of the Harry Potter novel series will be read in its entirety and published on Spotify for free . Each chapter will be read by different celebrities. That being said, the Chapter One: The Boy Who Lived has been read and released on Spotify via Harry Potter at Home channel and website, and it is being kicked off by none other than "the boy who lived" himself, Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter.

All seventeen chapters of the Philosopher's Stone/Sorcerer's Stone will be read by different celebrities and will be released each week. In addition to the Spotify and Spotify Kids releases, fans can also watch the video formats of the read-throughs on the Wizarding World website (see source link below). Future contributors or readers will include Stephen Fry (original audiobook narrator), Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) Dakota Fanning, David Beckham, Claudia Kim and Noma Dumezweni who played Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
