Lenovo is back in PH again with the K5 Play, K5 Pro, and S5 Pro smartphones

Remember Lenovo? Well, the brand is coming back in the smartphone scene here in the Philippines this year. And to kick things off, Lenovo is launching three new budget-friendly phones in the local market namely the K5 Play, K5 Pro, and S5 Pro. Together with these smartphone releases, the company will also start offering a range of smart home devices in the country for the very first time such as the robot vacuum cleaner, a smart home hub that's connected to Google Assistant, and a 2-in-1 tablet hybrid.

Let's start off with the Lenovo K5 Play. It sports a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with 720p display resolution. On the inside is a Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, while on the back is a dual camera setup with the primary shooter boasts 13MP camera and a secondary shooter with 2MP. On the front is an 8MP camera.

The Lenovo K5 Pro, on the other hand, offers a much upgraded set of specs. On the front is a full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 5.99-inch screen. On the inside is a more powerful Snapdragon 636 processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. In terms of native storage, there is only one 64GB configuration. Camera-wise, surprisingly, both the front and rear panels sport the same 16MP + 5MP camera combo.

Also, this K5 Pro also got a USB Type-C connectivity, a quite huge 4050mAh battery with 18W QuickCharge 3.0 right out of the box.

Last but not least, is the Lenovo S5 Pro which is like the K5 Pro, also sports USB Type-C port. On the front it's got 6.2-inch full HD+ IPS LCD. On the inside is a Snapdragon 636 processor. The processor is partnered with 4GB and 6GB of RAM and either 64GB of 128GB of internal storage. On its back it has dual camera setup with 20MP + 12MP configurations while selfie snappers offer 20MP+8MP combo. And the for security, it sports the usual fingerprint scanner and a fingerprint reader as well as an infrared camera face unlock.
