Huawei Y6p and Y5p are coming to the Philippines soon

In the coming days or probably a couple of weeks from now, there are two more entry level smartphones that are going to be launched and released in the Philippines by Huawei. This is according to the media invites that the company has started sending out for its upcoming digital launch of the said products.

The smartphones in questions are none other than the Huawei Y6p and Huawei Y5p which are also newly launched in some other markets.

The Huawei Y6p sports a bigger 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage that's expandable and a huge 5000mAH battery. Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor, the Y6p sports a 6.3-inch HD+ LCD screen with 1600 x 720 display resolution. This phone has triple rear camera with 13MP as the primary as well as a fingerprint scanner.

The Huawei Y5p, as the name suggests, has much trimmed down specs. It does only come with Face Unlock feature for security and privacy protection and a much smaller 3020mAh battery. Both of the devices are powered by the same octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor and have HD+ display resolution, but the Y5p with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Of course we expect this device to be priced way cheaper than the other.

In terms of OS, both will be powered by the latest EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 mobile platform.
