Huawei just upgraded its P40 Lite smartphone with 5G support and better camera. Read more here.
Not just the chip has been upgraded in the new P40 Lite 5G, its primary camera
too got enhanced. From 48MP it is equipped with 64MP shooter with Sony IMX582
sensor. Then there is still the 8MP ultraiwide camera and two 2MP shooters
with macro and depth sensors. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera.
Front panel of the device sports 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD display with HDR10
support and punch-hole cutout that holds the 16MP selfie camera. There is a
traditional fingerprint scanner, not in-display but side-mounted. It will come
in three color selections, Crush Green, Midnight Black, and Space Silver.
In terms of the battery, while we see a downgrade here from 4200mAh to
4000mAh, Huawei made sure to include a 40W fast charge instead. That fast
of a charger offers 70% battery life in just 30 minutes of charging from
0%.
While this is an overall pretty powerful and stunning midrange phone, the
only major downside is still the lack of Google Play services available.
Instead users will have the Huawei's proprietary AppGallery marketplace
for their app needs. That' said, the phone is running on the latest EMUI
10.1 OS based on the current Android 10 mobile platform.
