This New Android Tablet from Huawei - the MatePad T 8 - is Priced for Only Php5,990

In addition to the Y6p and Y5p entry-level smartphones that Huawei Philippines recently introduced in the local market, the brand also unveiled a budget-friendly Android tablet alongside them, meet the MatePad T 8 that only bears a Php5,990 price tag. Perfect for parents who are looking for a tablet that's easy on the pocket for their kids. It has educational tools, parental controls, and eye comfort mode too.

Weighing only 310 grams, the Huawei MatePad T 8 tablet sports an 8-inch touchscreen screen with 1280 x 800 display resolution. On the inside is an octa-core MediaTek MT8768 processor with 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB internal storage. This also supports microSD card for storage expansion up to 512GB.

It also got rear and front cameras for quick and casual moments-documenting needs, there's 5MP with autofocus and 2MP shooters, respectively, on the MatePad T 8.

As for its battery, the slate is equipped with a huge 5100mAh battery. Huawei promises this tablet to last up to 12 hours on local video playback and up to 12 hours of web browsing.
