Intel has officially launched its next-gen processors for PCs and laptops, and together with this is the wave of new computers from different brands are being launched harnessing the power of the processors. One of those brands is Lenovo. The company has launched two new Lenovo Legion laptops called the 7i and 5i sporting Intel's brand new 10th-gen processors and latest graphics cards from NVIDIA.Powered by the new GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs with Max-Q Design on the new Lenovo Legion 7i, gamers will definitely enjoy higher clock speeds and new levels of realism in today's AAA games. It's sibling, the Lenovo Legion 5i on the other hand, will offers up to RTX 2060 GPU. These new gaming laptops from Lenovo will also support NVIDIA G-Sync technology for smoother, tear-free gameplay. Last but not least, both machines will be powered up to the latest 10th-generation Intel Core H-Series mobile processors too.
What's more, the new Lenovo Legion PCs, including the Lenovo Legion 7i and 5i, will also be the first to feature the new NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology for improved battery efficiency. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, Advanced Optimus dynamically detects GPU workloads and automatically connects either the NVIDIA GPU (for demanding workloads) or teh IGP (for light workloads) to the display. This process will help to preserve the battery life when light workload applications are running and will deliver maximum performance and framerates when games are being played, according to Lenovo.
As for the official pricing, the Lenovo 5i and Lenovo Legion Y540 laptops equipped with RTX 2060 GPU will retail starting at $999 (Php51,000). The Lenovo Legion 7i and Lenovo Legion Y740 with RTX 2070 GPU will bear a starting $1,199 (Php61,000) price sticker.
