Being able to transfer games from Nintendo Switch's internal storage to an SD card is one of the features that many fans have been asking for. Today, that request has just been granted thanks to the latest firmware update that Nintendo has just released for the Switch gaming console.
The new system update version 10.0.0 is now officially available for download.
With the new update, users can now transfer or move downloadable software, update data, and DLC from the console's internal storage to the SD card external memory or vice versa.
In addition to the new functionality mentioned above, the firmware update also comes with another major changes, players now have the ability to remap or re-configure buttons on the controller of the Nintendo Switch according to their liking. This feature is available for the official Joy-Cons, Switch Lite, and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
Also, players can now bookmark news items up to 300 of them. They can revisit the bookmarked items as long as the content is still available or else it will automatically be removed. And last but not least, to celebrate the huge success of the launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the update comes with additional 6 new icons that players can use in the game.
