In addition to the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro that have just been launched and priced in the Philippines, Xiaomi Philippines is also launching two of its even more affordable entry level smartphones in the local market, meet the Redmi 8 and the Redmi 8A. Both devices sport massive and long lasting 5000mAh battery. See complete specs below.

    According to the Xiaomi Philippines post on their Facebook page, these devices are now available at their Authorized Mi Stores nationwide. That's going to be Php6,490 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant of the Redmi 8 and Php6,990 for the bigger 4GGB+64GB version, while it's Php5,490 for the Redmi 8A that only comes in 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.
