HMD Global Launches New Nokia Smartphones in the Philippines

At a local event held by HMD Global Philippines a couple of days ago, three new Nokia-branded smartphones have been launched in the local market. These are the Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.2, and Nokia 8.1. All of these smartphones are powered by the latest Android 9 Pie mobile operating system and are all part of the Android One program as well which means monthly security updates and major software upgrades like the upcoming Android Q are guaranteed for the next two years.

All these phones will be available for purchase beginning July 19, 2019. The only catch is, each will be released via different channels. The Nokia 2.2 priced at Php5,990, will be available through all authorized retailers nationwide. The Nokia 3.2 priced at Php7,990 will be exclusively released via Shopee with Php1,000 discount voucher upon check out making the final price at just Php6,990, and the Nokia 8.1 at Php19,990 through Lazada.

The first 700 buyers of the Nokia 8.1 on Lazada will get a free Philippine Airline (PAL) travel voucher worth Php1,000 that can be used for local flights and a extra special treatment card for after sales support with VIP services.
