Nokia 2.1 now starts receiving Android Pie Go Edition update, HMD Global confirmed. Rea more details here.
Do you own a Nokia 2.1 smartphone? If the answer is yes, then you will be happy to know that HMD Global has already begun rolling out Android Pie Go Edition software update to this device just today. This was confirmed by none other than Juvo Sarvikas, HMD Global's Chief Product Office, via his Twitter account today.
Get it while it's hot! Our latest Android 9 Pie update is rolling out now. Nokia 2.1 just keeps getting better. #Nokiamobile pic.twitter.com/SN9uEsqPGZ— Juho Sarvikas (@sarvikas) February 21, 2019
The update should automatically push to your device, but in case it has not and you would like to check if you can now download it, you can just simply manually check it in the settings of your phone. SETTINGS >> ABOUT PHONE >> SYSTEM UPDATES.
What about the others like Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1? Hopefully the Android Pie Go Edition update for these devices should be released by the end of March if HMD Global sticks to the schedule according to GSMArena.
