Looks like we now have an official launch date for the upcoming ASUS ZenFone 6 smartphone. Read more here.
It is very clear now that ASUS does not have any plan of joining and revealing any new smartphone offerings at this year's Mobile World Congress or MWC 2019 tech expo in Barcelona, that is currently in full swing, because if they have, we would have already heard any exciting news by now. However, there is a new detail about the Taiwanese company's upcoming smartphone that was recently spotted by some of the attendees at MWC.
The image you see above was shared by one of the MWC 2019 attendees where it shows a full two-page advertisement on the event's official publication magazine issued to some press. In there we see ASUS explicitly saying that their upcoming smartphone, to be called ZenFone 6, will be officially launched on May 14, 2019 in Valencia, Spain.
However, apart from the ad, we don't know anything more about the ZenFone 6. The teaser image on the left though may suggest that ASUS will finally ditch the notorious notch and a full-screen phone appears to be arriving instead.
