Redmi by Xiaomi has officially launched the new Redmi Note 7 smartphone that offers tons of mid-range specs for an entry-level price. Read more here.
Redmi is now an official sub-brand of Xiaomi carrying the logo that will say Redmi by Xiaomi, and its first outing is none other than the Redmi Note 7 which packs powerful features and very aggressive pricing.
Redmi Note 7's main highlight obviously is its 48MP rear camera with a 5MP secondary shooter, its selfie camera at 13MP. Alongside those lenses are a 6.3-inch display with a waterdrop notch and full HD+ display resolution while under the hood is a Snapdragon 660 processor.
In terms of storage, users will have three options for its configuration and pricing. First is a 3GB/32GB that will be offered, at least in China, for only 999 Yuan or about Php7,700, another at 4GB/64GB for 1,199 Yuan (9,200), and a finally a 6GB/64GB variant with 1,399 Yuan (Php10,800) asking price.
This smartphone is now the most affordable device with a huge 48MP camera.
The phone still got a headphone jack port as well as a traditional fingerprint scanner located on the back panel. Powering this handset is a massive 4000mAh battery.
