ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Lite Sample Camera Photos

I have been using the latest ZenFone 4 Max Lite for a few days now, and I am glad to report that this most recent "Battery King" from ASUS has been able to deliver the job - good photography quality for its price point and the battery performance, as expected, is terrific, up to two days on most occasions on a single charge. I am still working on the full review of this smartphone which will be posted in the coming days, though you can check out my quick unboxing and early impressions here. But for today, let me share you a few photos I have captured using its cameras.

In case you have lost track of it, the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Lite sports dual rear camera set up which the primary shooter is pegged at 13MP with f/2.0 aperture, 80° field of view, a super fast 0.03sec phase-detection autofocus and an LED flash. The secondary 5MP rear camera is for winder angle shots, thanks to its 120° wide-angle lens. Groupies or selfies with more background is guaranteed without the need for a selfie stick or a longer arm.

On the ZenFone 4 series, including this Max Lite one, switching between the main and the secondary cameras is very easy. You just have to tap on the on-screen icons next to the shutter. See the photos below using these rear cameras.

For quick comparison, I took the same subjects or angles using both the primary and wide lenses. Check them out and see if that's something you would really like on a smartphone.

Not really a fan of taking selfie photos, but here are two of my captures using the front camera's 8MP shooter with and without Beauty Mode feature activated.

Now, while the secondary camera on the back is offered with up to 5MP, the default setting when you fire up the wide-angle shooter is only at 2MP to achieve the 16:9 aspect ratio or full screen image format. If you would like a more square image format and with much clearer quality, you can simply change the resolution to 5MP in the settings section of the camera app.

The front facing camera, on the other hand, is graced by an 8MP module. Alongside this shooter is a Soft LED flash for an added touch your selfies or if you need more light on your face before snapping the shutter.

The ZenFone 4 Max Lite is now available in the Philippines for only Php7,995. I guess for that asking price, seeing the qualities of photos it can produce through the single front and dual rear cameras, its massive 4100mAh battery that doubles as a powerbank as well, and gorgeous design, it is one of the best value for money smartphones we can find right now at gadget stores around.
