A new photo for the Stranger Things Season 2 has just been released. Come and take a look.
If you are one of those Stranger Things fans who have been waiting for the release of its second season or just waiting for anything related to this extremely popular series from Netflix, you are in for a treat as the very first photo for this show has just been unleashed online by Netflix via Entertainment Weekly. See below.
It's just one photo though but I think its enough to get us more excited about the second season of Stranger Things. In the image above, we are shown the three of the main characters Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) sporting their respective Ghostbuster costumes and gears which again another nod to the 80s where the first season made alot of references to.And just like the Stranger Things Season 1, this installment will also take place in the 80s. 1984 to be exact, one year after the events of first season. The same year the Ghostbuster movie came out, so there we go.
The image above is actually a screengrabbed still from the upcoming teaser ad that will be aired during the Super Bowl LI game this coming Sunday in the US, announced by EW on its Instagram account together with the image.
While we are getting the first teaser trailer (or ad) for the Stranger Things Season 2 over the weekend, no one knows yet when the Season 2 will actually arrive on Netflix. Maybe we'll know more details on Sunday when the ad is aired. But as of writing, it is still in production and the people behind this huge project are trying their best to keep the story line secret.
