Vivo has just officially announced the V5 Lite smartphone. Read more details here.
The Vivo V5 Plus was just unveiled a couple of days ago and a few days ahead of its official launch which is to take place on Saturday January 21 here in the Philippines. And then today, Vivo couldn't wait any longer as they just announced another member of the series, the Vivo V5 Lite. As you may have already guessed, this is the "bunso" of the three V5 siblings. Thus we expect this to be the most affordable as well when released locally.
The V5 Plus will sport a dual-front camera features, the V5 has a 20MP front camera, the V5 Lite will have the lowest selfie camera configuration of them all at 16MP with f/2.0 aperture alongside it. We may call it the "lowest" but I am pretty sure it will still be able to deliver that "perfect selfie" you want. On its back sits a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.
As for its display, the Vivo V5 Lite bears a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. Inside it is an unnamed 64-bit octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM with 32GB expandable internal storage. Unlike the other two, this V5 Lite will not have a fingerprint scanner. Good thing is, the rest of the specs are almost the same such as dual-SIM functionality, 4G LTE support and massive 3000mAh battery pack.
