Finally, the wait is over, as the much anticipated Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update has arrived for the users of Asus Zenfone Zoom and Zenfone Selfie smartphones. This was announced by Asus Philippines through its official Zentalk Forums Philippines Facebook page and website.
There is a minor catch though, you have to manually download the manual update file from Asus Support website for Zoom and Selfie smartphones. Please see the source links below for each phone to access the download link.
Once you have downloaded the firmware zip file, simply copy it to your device's internal storage and then reboot your device. After the phone is turned back on, you should be able to receive update notification, from there just follow the steps provided on the screen.
