Back in October of last year, Cherry Mobile announced that a couple of their Flare smartphones are to receive Android Lollipop updates in the near future. And guess what, they were not joking as Cherry Mobile just announced through their Facebook page that the over-the-air software update for the Flare S3 Octa and S3 Power is now available for download.
The image above was published yesterday by Cherry Mobile. And what's nice about this latest update is that it is available over-the-air (OTA), this means no need to do the update manually on your device. Simply go to the settings section of your phone, make sure you are connected to WiFi and your phone has enough battery, and from there you can process your much awaited Android Lollipop update. Please take note that, according to Cherry Mobile, this update is not applicable for rooted and modded devices.
