GrabCar Now Fully LTFRB-Accredited Tranportation Service in the Philippines

GrabTaxi's other booking service called GrabCar has just been officially accredited by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) as the very first app-based booking service provider under the newly formed Transportation Network Company (TNC) classification.

Back in May, Department of Transportation Commission or DOTC stated that they they will create a new category of transportation to accommodate app-based service like the GrabCar and Uber and that followed the creation of the TNC. After its formation, GrabCar was the first company to complete all the requirements needed to be certified and accredited. Fast forward to July 3, 2015, the certification was awarded to GrabCar PH by DOTC and LTFRB as seen in the image above.
