It is for sure that a lot anime fans in the Philippines are eagerly and excitedly waiting for the official release of the Attack on Titan live action movie in the country. So far two teaser trailers have been released for Japanese market, and none yet for the international community as the trailers are in Japanese language.
With that being said, many fans from around the world especially here in the PH are asking if we are ever going to see the two-part adaptations of the popular anime-manga series Shingeki no Kyojin at our local cinemas. Although it is not officially announced yet either by SM Cinema or other theaters, the short answer is YES and the date is even unofficially revealed.
I was at the Gaisano Mall of Davao the other day readying myself to see the new Avengers: Age of Ultron movie, and while I was looking around the cinema section of the mall, one giant movie poster caught my attention and right then and there I pulled out my smartphone and took pictures of it to share with you which you can see below.
The poster said "From the Company Gave you Rurouni Kenshin" and right below the title it shows "8.12.2015". So yeah that means we will see the film on August 12, 2015 and since the poster was spotted at Gaisano Mall that means that it is not exclusive to SM Cinemas which is very good.
However we are only looking at one opening date here which is most likely for the part one of the film. Most of us know that the Attack on Titan movie adaptation will be split into two parts like what happened to the last Rurouni Kenshin movies. In Japan the first part will be released in August and will be followed by the second part in September of this same year. So hopefully we will also see the other one this coming September.
