A giant gundam statue was spotted on a resort in the Philippines.
Back in 2009 Japan built a life-size Gundam suit as part of Gundam's Series 30th anniversary. Based on what I have read recently, Japan plans to get the mobile suit upgraded and get moving by 2019 which is a pretty exciting thing to see in real life. I hope it will be able to fly too.
And then very recently a photo of a giant Gundam statue started emerging online and the origin of the said photo is the Philippines. A post on RocketNews42 said that the statue is found at Jed's Island Resort in Calumpit, Bulacan.
The image above is the comparison between Japan's official Gundam Suit (left [obviously : ) ]) and Jed's Island Resort version of the statue on the right. See that woman on the right photo?
