HTC One M8 and M7 Will Receive Android 5.0 Lollipop Update Within the Next 90 Days

HTC's Android Lollipop update for HTC One M8 and M7 will arrive before February 2014 ends.

HTC was one of the companies to announce that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for their HTC One smartphones will be arriving soon. To make it more exciting, the Taiwanese company said that the first official update will be released within 90 days from the time they receive the final software from Google. And looks like we can now turn the 90-day clock on for One M8 and One M7 users.

Based on HTC's tweets below, it is already confirmed that they have received the Lollipop source code and the 90-day notice has already begun which means One M8 and M7 smartphone users should get the update before February of 2015 ends. For non-M8 and M7 users the wait will take a bit longer.
