Lionsgate and Stephenie Meyer announced plan to create Twilight Saga short films and launch on Facebook
It has been two years since the Twilight Saga ended with the Breaking Dawn Part 2 and many actually thought the movie series which were based on the popular novels of the same name had ended for good. Well there is a good news for all the Edward-Bella love story fans coming from Lionsgate and the books' author Stephenie Meyer through a report via New York Times, five new Twilight short films are going to be made and launched on Facebook.
Stephenie Meyer, who is the creator and author of the Twilight book series, and Lionsgate have partnered again and launched the project called “Storytellers – New Creative Voices of The Twilight Saga” which will look for aspiring female film makers to create short movies based on the characters from the popular young adult vampire movie and novel series Twilight. For now the plan is to create five short movies and those films will debut through Facebook early next year.
As of yet there is no confirmation as to which actors will reprise their roles but what is officially known is that Kristen Stewart is going to be a part of the project where she will join Kate Winslet, Octavia Spencer, Julie Bowen together with the author herself Stephenie Meyer and the director Catherine Hardwicke. We'll hear more about this project as it moves into development.
