Watch the Star Wars Empire Strikes Back uncut movie here.
The Star Wars : The Empire Strikes Back Uncut film has just been released through the Star Wars official website. It is the finished product of about 480 fan-made segments and is the complete shot-for-shot remake of the Star Wars Episode V. Every fan or groups of fans were allotted 15-second segments each to remake the film with the use of anything available around them, real human actors, animation, stop motion toys or whatever thing that they see fit for the project.
The release of the crowd-sourced remake of George Lucas' famous epic Star Wars film also coincides the return of the Star Wars Fan Film Awards which had been an annual event since 2002 with the short cut off in 2012. This year's SWFFA is inviting fans to submit short works inspired by Star Wars in a number of categories, including comedy, non-fiction and animation, with the winners selected by fans online and screened at an upcoming Star Wars Celebration event in April 2015. They can submit their entries starting today until January 16, 2015. Learn more about this contest through the Star Wars webpage.
