LG has officially unveiled the G Watch R smartwatch powered by Android Wear os. See specs here.
Earlier this week, LG released a teaser clip for its new and upcoming round-shaped Android Wear smartwatch called G Watch R, today the Korean company has officially announced the device ahead of the company's event at the IFA in Berlin next week.
Just like the teaser promised, the LG G Watch R is a circular faced smartwatch which is LG's answer to Motorola Moto 360's feature of the same shape. LG said that the device uses its 100% 1.3" P-OLED display. It has a resolution of 320x320 pixels.
Under the hood is a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor partnered with 512MB of RAM and a 4GB internal storage. It is also an IP67 certified gadget which makes it water and dust resistant. It is the second smartwatch by LG powered by Android Wear OS, a software platform Google specifically created for wearable devices.

Even though it has been announced we can still expect to see this device at the IFA event next month and possibly hear more about the G Watch R. Pricing is not unveiled though but most likely to be announced locally as the device will be rolled out in key markets in fourth quarter of the year.
